Fees and Guarantees

Our fees are some of the most competitive in the industry and we offer retainer-based, contingent, and contract searches.

Guarantees

As a result of our experience and knowledge of the insurance industry, we are highly confident of the quality of our search services and, as a result, we offer excellent guarantee options.

For retained searches we provide a one year guarantee.  If the selected candidate leaves our client's employment within the first year we will provide a replacement candidate for the same position at no additional charge.  Note that for the guarantee to be applicable, the position must be substantially identical to that in the original search.

For contingent search, our guarantee varies with the option selected from the three choices below. The guarantee on contingent search provides a credit note toward the hiring of a replacement candidate.  The guarantee does not provide a cash refund.  Where a credit is not used immediately, it may be applied to future searches up to 1 years after the credit is issued.

Both retained and contingent searches provide a one-time guarantee and extend only to the first selected candidate leaving our client’s employment.   The guarantee does not extend to any subsequent candidate leaving that position at our client.

Fees

Exclusive Retained Services

Fees for retained exclusive or non-retained exclusive searches are determined based on the unique characteristics of each search.  They generally start at 30% of the expected annual compensation and a retainer of one third of the fee is paid at the commencement of the search contract.

Contingency Placement Services

We offer 3 options for contingent search:

 

Option 1 - Fee 20%

·         3 month replacement guarantee

·         Additional 3 month guarantee if the employee is terminated for cause

·         Reference checks

 

Option 2 - Fee 25%

·         6 month replacement guarantee

·         Additional 6 month guarantee if the employee is terminated for cause

·         Reference checks

 

Option 3 - Fee 30%

·         12 month replacement guarantee

·         Reference checks

·         Criminal and credit check

 

·         Education verification

·         Profile evaluation test

·         Skills testing

NB.    Where compensation is materially or highly variable, compensation will be negotiated on an individual basis.

Agreement

The client agrees that in the event that the client (or any of its related companies) employs or retains the services of a candidate in any capacity whatsoever within twelve (12) months of DGA submitting or introducing (whether verbally or in writing through the submission of a resume or any other documentation, letter or email) that candidate to that client, then the fees described herein shall apply in respect of that candidate and shall be paid by the client to DGA in accordance with the provisions hereof.
