Salary Range: 75k -125k

Your Responsibilities
- Producing and underwriting profitable new and renewal business within the framework of ourunderwriting guidelines
- Growing the book while ensuring the profitability of our Mid-market business
- Achieving new business targets
- Providing superior service to our brokers and clients at all stages of the underwriting process
- Developing new and maintaining existing broker relationships in support of our business objectives
- Customer-focused approach in developing customized solutions for our clients
- Conducting broker and client presentations
- Enhancing our brand visibility by participating in industry events, social events, conferences etc.
- Working with our Management and Sales Distribution teams, in the development of marketing strategies for the Mid-Market book.
- Processing new and renewal business on a timely basis
- Ensuring proper file documentation and accuracy of policy documents
Your Profile
- 5+ years of underwriting experience in the property and casualty lines-of-business
- Solid technical knowledge of property and casualty policy wordings and underwriting methods
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated and the ability to adapt and provide creative solutions
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is an asset
- Completion of insurance courses would be an asset
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Exceptional negotiation, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written English skills
- Working knowledge of French and/or German considered an asset
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word & Outlook)
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced team environment
- Occasional travel to key markets is expected
