Description

Our client is looking for a Lead for their Construction Division. You will be a part of one of the largest independent insurance brokerages in Western Canada. If you have a fun and engaging personality and you want to work in a collaborative environment, then you are who we are looking for.   

What you will be doing:   

  • Build out and eventually mentor the team, developing internal processes and procedures 
  • Drive submission development, marketing strategies, and negotiate rates/coverages with markets 
  • Support business development through client presentations, industry events, and marketing initiatives 
  • Create and implement value-added risk services for construction clients 
  • Oversee day-to-day client service delivery and ensure compliance standards 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance markets and construction industry partners 

 

What we are looking for:  

  • 7+ years experience placing construction insurance programs 
  • Strong understanding of developer and construction industry insurance needs 
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills 
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction insurance wordings and coverages 
  • Experience in developing and implementing service procedures 
  • Strong relationship building abilities with clients and markets in the construction space
