I am working with a unique brokerage in search of an experienced Brokerage Manager to lead their Property and Casualty insurance department. This role is fully remote but requires the incumbent to be in Ontario and hold a Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) license. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal lines home and auto insurance and possess the ability to lead and inspire a team while fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.

Location: Ontario (Fully Remote)

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership: Provide effective leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a supervisor and a team of insurance brokers, ensuring they meet and exceed performance targets, adhere to industry standards, and provide exceptional customer service.
Team Development: Foster a culture of professional growth, knowledge enhancement, and skill development among team members. Support ongoing training and development initiatives.
Client Relations: Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met and that the brokerage delivers the highest level of customer service.
Workflow Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, including onboarding, policy issuance, renewals, and claims processing, to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Personal Lines Expertise: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of personal lines home and auto insurance to guide the team in servicing their clients to the best of their abilities.
Commercial Insurance (Preferred): While not mandatory, experience in commercial insurance is a plus, as it can provide valuable insights and support for clients with diverse needs.
Experience with EPIC insurance management software is preferred.
Adaptability: Be open to learning and adapting to new technologies, processes, and industry changes to keep the brokerage efficient.
Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment where team members feel comfortable sharing ideas, feedback, and solutions to improve the brokerage's operations and service quality.

Qualifications:

Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) License is mandatory.
Proven experience in managing a team of insurance professionals.
Strong background in personal lines home and auto insurance.
Knowledge of commercial insurance (preferred).
Familiarity with EPIC insurance management software (preferred).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Open-minded, approachable, and receptive to new ideas.
Ability to work remotely and independently while maintaining team cohesion.
