Are you a pro at handling complex property claims and providing outstanding customer service? My client is looking for someone to join their National Property Claims team as a Large Loss Examiner!
Title: Large Loss Claims Examiner
Location: Remote role anywhere in Canada
As a Large Loss Examiner, you'll be responsible for reviewing claim files and providing oversight to third-party adjusters to ensure that all claims are handled according to best practices and procedures. You'll work on a variety of complex claims ranging from $250,000 to multimillion dollars, and manage the investigation, analysis, adjustment, and settlement of sophisticated property claims, all while maintaining a focus on quality and customer service.
You'll work closely with specialists and premier vendors and collaborate with counsel and experts to manage litigation files and maintain a line of sight over bad faith claims. You'll also use your strong digital literacy skills to review IA reports, compile facts and policies, analyze estimates, and settle claims.
I’m looking for someone with at least 5 years of commercial and residential property claims experience, detailed knowledge of the property insurance industry, strong construction knowledge, and a solid understanding of property insurance case law. You should also have outstanding communication and negotiation skills, excellent report writing skills, and some basic accounting skills.
