The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a confident P&C insurance leader who is ready to take on the operations of an established office to become their next Sales Manager. This position requires the ability to create and execute big picture plans for the office and a team of about 10-15 employees. The successful candidate will also have the responsibility of shaping the team as they see fit.

 

 Responsibilities:

  • Creating a plan for the office finances, operations, sales, and marketing
  • Work within the community to establish name recognition and trust
  • Lead the team by taking responsibility for quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction and financial performance
  • Help develop staff by acting as a resource to help them reach their full potential
  • Oversee day to day operations
  • Work with upper management to ensure that the firm is always staying on the leading edge.

About You

You are a proven leader with a background in P&C insurance sales. You have always wanted to have your own office that you can lead and inspire with the ideas you have formulated over the years. Your business plans are sound and well thought out and you are itching to implement them. You believe in serving your community and would want to contribute to its wellbeing through the firm whenever possible.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of management experience. Ideally with a focus on sales management
  • A Level 2 Insurance License
  • Strong network in the industry and within your community
  • Comfortable creating and executing plans for all aspects of an insurance business
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Ability to negotiate and satisfy all parties involved
