Our valued client has an opportunity for Jr. Risk Analyst (Safety)!

POSITION OVERVIEW 

Our client has a rapidly growing their team in South Edmonton. This role is highly focused supporting the risk analysts in the gathering and inputting of information including providing prompt customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing customers with prompt service by providing advice, discussing customer concerns, including but not limited to walk-ins, emails, and phone calls 
  • Entering and updating clients’ information in computer system (s) and spreadsheets  
  • Collect documentation required for audits
  • Send clients safety notifications, weather updates, and any applicable industry information or changes  
  • Determine eligibility for insurance policy 
  • Collect and prepare all documents required for new business and renewals 
  • Keeping current with activities and workload 
  • Follow branch workflows 

 

Qualifications:

  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate required
  • General Level 1 insurance license is an asset 
  • Experience with Epic is an asset 
  • Microsoft Office 365 experience is required 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle pressure and meet deadlines 
  • Able to be pro-active and work both independently and as a part of a team 
  • Positive and respectful attitude with both clients and co-workers 
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity
