Job Summary:

The Supervisor of our Case Management team will be responsible for training and mentoring of Case Managers, monitoring potential and active loans, maintain and review data integrity, monitor workflow processes, loan assessment exposure, and liaison with lawyers, law clerks and service providers in both verbal and written form.

This is an ideal role for a strong team player with insurance or personal injury experience who is detail oriented, enjoys working with people and is able to deliver accurate results on required deadlines. This role will require a flexible individual to adapt to the growth of the business and this dynamic company.

The role will be 100% work from home and can be held anywhere across Canada. 


The successful candidate will:

  • Supervise a team of 5-7 Case Managers providing technical guidance on new and existing clients/loans;
  • Work closely with the CRO and administrative assistance to ensure that core compliances are being adhered to;
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures for existing and new products;
  • Be able to quantify an injury file at an intermediate to senior level;
  • Conduct intakes with both plaintiffs and lawyers, of all new potential loans through email, telephone, and after-hours assignment, and set up into our CRM system during peak periods;
  • Actively engage in verbal relationship building with both our external and internal clients;
  • Monitor and action new queue leads as warranted, monitor abeyances and assist the Case Managers during peak periods to ensure prompt disposition;
  • Maintain daily access in the telephone and chat queue in accordance;
  • Be able to diffuse disgruntled clients; 
  • Perform other duties as required in order to support the team;
  • Possess excellent communication skills both verbally and written;
  • Be a team player with a strong commitment to quality and customer service;
  • Meet all quality standards and expectations per file standard guidelines.



  • 5 years or more supervisory and/or mentoring experience;
  • Minimum 5 years of technical experience in an insurance claims adjusting or personal injury environment;
  • Ability to implement, enforce and assist in drafting policies and procedures;
  • Ability to accurately scope damages for quantum assessment as needed;
  • Experience utilizing computer technology; such as Microsoft Office, e-mail, Web-enabled applications, and database software required.
  • Ability to accurately compute a variety of numerical calculations required.
  • Post-secondary education or a combination of relevant education and on-the-job experience.
  • Prior experience in a customer service environment required;
  • Bilingual (English-French) and asset;
