  • Help us to drive innovation, enabling new underwriting paradigms, distribution models, and data management
  • Support the design and development of consumer-facing risk assessment products for our North American clients
  • Participate throughout the software development lifecycle from initiation through testing and implementation, working closely with internal and client development teams
  • Manage all phases of the projects while leveraging project management tools, agile methodologies, international standards like PMI and PMBOK, best practices and processes.
  • Deliver and own project outcomes that are aligned to established cost, timing, deliverable, and scope
  • Specify and meet project delivery expectations through stakeholder management and meet/exceed the project sponsor's specified expectations to ensure buy in and project success
  • Proactively identify and track project risk and develop mitigation plans to manage risk (i.e. risk related to technology, change management, business process management, requirements management)
  • Ensure production of necessary project documentation
  • Monitor project health continuously and develop innovative approaches to resolve problems and significant issues; involve management where necessary
  • Assist with tracking and reporting revenue and expenses
  • Maintain communication with Compliance managers, document associated needs and escalate issues
  • Maintain a professional relationship with various business units and global contacts both internally and externally


  • 5-10 years’ experience of Project Management experience leading and managing a variety of projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science/IT or equivalent
  • Experience in Life Insurance (Direct Carrier or Reinsurance)
  • Commercial awareness around insurance, underwriting and rule/decision engines
  • Strong facilitation skills and the ability to communicate (verbal & written) at all levels with various internal and external stakeholders with clarity and precision
  • Extensive experience in IT, preferably in application development and in-depth knowledge of the entire Software Development Cycle
  • Experience managing projects that require integration between parties and systems
  • Prior experience in agile project management methodologies like SCRUM as well as sound knowledge of project management techniques and methodologies like PMI, PMBOK etc.
  • Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of clients and key internal stakeholders; taking accountability; mobilize, motivate and lead teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity
  • Attention to detail and organization
  • Skilled at customer relationship management
  • Superior written and oral communication skills, including presentations to clients and internal management
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project
  • Experience with software engineering best practices
