Title: Senior Digital Customer Engagement Specialist

Location: Downtown Toronto

Candidates must be able to work flexible shifts during core business hours (8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday to Friday), as well as Saturdays.


  • Develop and improve digital and self-service experience, our insurance products, safety propositions and internal processes, based on trends (qualitative and quantitative) in customer and community interactions
  • De-escalate problematic situations in all channels, deal with reputational issues, resolve complaints and turn them into positive experiences.  
  • You are the (main) point of contact for one or more of our (regulatory) partners (e.g. FSRA, Northbridge, Ombudsman)
  • Ensuring the quality of customer engagement interactions by organizing training, coaching and intervention within the team.
  • Responsible for alignment with the product and underwriting experts and ensuring the correct execution of the pre-defined underwriting and business rules.


  • Post-secondary education and / or equivalent on the job experience
  • 5+ years’ experience and working knowledge of personal lines Home and Auto insurance
  • OTL license is required, or have a RIBO and willing to convert to OTL
  • 3+ years’ experience with (digital) customer service
  • Experience with social media in a Business-to-Consumer environment
  • Intermediate-Advanced proficiency with MS Office (specifically word and excel)
  • Intermediate-Advanced proficiency with MS Dynamics CRM (or comparable CRM)

Compensation: Competitive salary, Bonus up to 20%, 21 vacation days, benefits and RRSP.
