CAMIC seeking info on demutualization
The Canadian Association of Mutual Insurance Companies has made an Access to Information request to the federal Ministry of Finance concerning progress on rules for p&c demutualization.

Chair Rob Forsythe said at CAMIC’s midyear meeting in Toronto that they were surprised that the issue was not mentioned in the latest federal budget.
“We thought there would be more movement on this issue but here we are still waiting,” he said.
